My main complaints as others have said is the repetition, how basic it all is, the sometimes really poor American pronunciations, the American cities and states, the absurdity of the sentence structures that don't make any sense at all, and the main fact that nothing is explained and just has to be picked up somehow, etc. I'm completing everything to Legendary level with regular practice thereafter, but have so far only completed the first 4 modules (Intro, Greetings, Where, Plurals), need to get Legendary on the fifth (School), and have started on Parents. At this point, youve probably realized my point: the Duolingo Latin course doesnt distinguish vowel length, which is. ![]() I've been doing it on my phone and will persevere. I think the Duolingo can support studying Latin, but it seems to make a bad only teacher.
